Job Description:
As a Field Service Engineer, you represent SMART SOLUTIONS both technically and professionally at the client site.
Your role is to ensure that equipment is installed and maintained properly.
Your aim is customer satisfaction through reliability and proactive support.
Essential Responsibilities
- Responsible for onsite installation and configuration of Intel-based Windows servers and SAN storage subsystems and ongoing preventive maintenance and repair.
- Responding to requests for emergency repairs and services.
- Providing technical instruction and assistance to technicians regarding installation, operation, repair, and maintenance at customer’s sites.
- Ensuring that the relevant customer representatives are continually updated on current job status.
- Preparing timely and accurate technical reports by company standards of all site activities.
Prerequisites & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in electronics, communications, or computer science.
- Prior field engineering experience ( 1-3 years)
- Ability to work effectively with minimum supervision
- Good command of English
- Strong customer service mindset
- Geographically mobile (locations vary)
